Is there any way to check a coach's international references/resume? For example, if a coach had claimed to work with a national team in another country? And most of the coach's references are in said country....

I would suggest an email/letter to the national governing body, they should be able to confirm a reference

Google the name of the coach, The team, The gymnasts , The dates. Anything they have given you. See what you can turn up. If you are lucky you might turn up some YouTube footage of them at meets.
