Parents DD is new level 8. Bars are the enemy.

DD has always struggled with bars. She just got her pirouette, but its hit or miss. Her confidence is down (as it is at the beginning of every season). Her coach knows she can do it and so do I. How do I get her to realize she can do it, too?

    Parents Arm sleeve/brace

My dd has been recovering from an elbow sprain for two months and it still hurts a little during bars. She has been unable to compete yet this season. Has anyone tried the Freedom pediatric arm sleeve? The arm doesnt hurt a lot but her coach is still worried.

    Parents Cheetah cups at meets

Hi all. My DD has a bone bruised heel. She has been using a cheetah cup and it is helping a lot. Our competition season starts this weekend and she desperately wants to compete vault and floor (her best events). Can she use the cheetah cup at meets?

She can't do vault or floor. Her coach mentioned bone bruise tonight. Im not sure what to do. We've been icing...

    WAG bonus points

Hey all. My dd is going to be a level 6 this season. She has a friend that can do some level 7 B skills. If she does these level 7 skills in her level 6 routine, does she get bonus points or can it just hurt her if she doesnt preform them well? Im just curious. Does it pay to stay at a lower...

    Parents 1st choreography. Thanks everyone

My DD just got her first (level 6) choreography this morning. I love it and so does she. You were all great at helping me understand the cost and other aspects (ie feeding the choreographer). Thanks

WAG what are a and b skills etc

Hi all. What are A and B skills etc. I live in PA. My DD is going to be a level 6 this season. I know she needs so many A and B skills, but I dont know what they are. For example is a cast flyaway on bars a B skill?

Parents what are A skills and B skills etc

This is my dd's first yr as an optional. I read that she needs so many a and b skills. What are the skills? For instance, is a cast flyaway a B skill?

Parents Hi all! New to site and have a ?

Hi. I am a gym mom and have a dd that is training level 6. This is her first year as an optional. Our gym is bringing in a choreographer and we are supposed to supply meals for him. Is that normal? Thanks.
